The Bible gives two
contradictory accounts of creation. The first one has the
world created in six days (Genesis 1:31), while the second
one has it happen in a day (Genesis 2:4-7). In the first
account the animals are created before humans (Genesis
1:24-27), while the second one has man - but not woman -
created before the animals. (Genesis 2:7, 18-23). The order
of creation in both accounts is quite different. Nowadays
these contradictions are of little concern. Modern creation
myths are now based on the theory of evolution.
