also:

16 Then Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

(where he met his wife)

So... no incest needed - there were plenty of other people on the earth that doG didn't create.

of course, as this christian 'main' god says, 'he' is a jealous god, and indeed the first few commandments pertain to this one protecting himself as the big daddy. It's kinda like he was scared of other gods? totally infatuated with us little humans following him? kinda goes against not just appearing in the sky and removing everyones doubt eh. weird stuff this religion stuff.

A major reason I couldn't follow the xtian stuff, even when I was still hoping to believe in some sort of 'higher being'. What sort of all-powerful creator-of-the-universe needs to force his creations to worship him? Seems very petty and insecure to me.
