WOW thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to learning a lot from these forums I am sure I have my work cut out trying to catch up :-)

Thanks askegg I will certainly read your link regarding the School Chaplaincy Program as that is one of the policies in the last election that angered me. That was blatant pandering to the religous vote. I am all for trained counsellours in schools but not untrained bible bashers.

Cheers. This section of the forum contains the bulk of SRE/Chap crap discussion http://www.atheistfoundation.org.au/...splay.php?f=20
Trained Counsellors YES! (social work/psychology and related credentials)
GRE yes-but a lot less (general/comparative religious education)
SRE NO! (Special/Selective/Sinister Religious Edjumacation)
Ethics YES! Compulsory.
Just putting my thoughts out there for when we inevitably meet in the Family Matter section

Don't worry mate, I haven't caught up yet either....lots of weird shit with pancakes on bunny heads, photos of feet with drunk owners, and cruelty towards fawns. Not to mention recipes for babies.

Too much fat in babies, Pimple Arse. I prefer duck if one has to have a fatty meal.
