Deciding to be undecided.

I was more kinda... posing the question to you, which is better, I shall pitch the two sides:

Side 1: A religious person, as I am undecided about being. Believes things will be ok, because of the teachings of their religion, believes their actions have consequences even when they aren't caught, even if they are thought of, believes even when nobody else loves they their deity loves them.

Side 2: A regular person, in a situation I am in. Believes life is fucked, because there's nothing to stop it from being so, nothing to guarantee it all being ok in the end, doesn't really care much for Karma and the "Three Fold Law", believes "Nobody mortal is ever fucking there for me and there's nothing magic or deities can do about it there's nobody that loves me or cares"

More saying, in some cases religious beliefs are beneficial as long as they are not pushed on otheres.

But sometimes I can't. I just get so mad/sad/whatever I feel like hitting something, someone, or hurting myself. Before my faith was enough to overcome these impulses most of the time.

Possible, not probable. But nor was my mate's mum dying in bed, a PE teacher in her 30s or early 40s(death still unexplained).

Have some respect for your own sense of right and wrong, feel good about it, and as several others have said, don't push it. Let it go where it will, don't stop thinking by any means but enjoy the ride.

Frankly, if you end up going back to theism you've still thought about it more than many ever will.

I doubt there are many ex-theists who chose to be atheist. Once it becomes obvious the supernatural doesn't stack up you really don't have a choice. It takes time though for theist thinking to get out of the system and it pops up when you least need or expect it, don't rush things.

And there is nothing wrong with deciding to be undecided, it's an honest position.

Now instead of weeks and days, I go to theism and back by the minute! Well, part of me does, just like I feel "There's nobody there" then logic part of me says "You have friends dipshit! You have family!"

I shall indeed try not to push mself or rush things

At night when left alone my thoughts generally turn negative, and the blocked nose you can get from crying about it is awful annoying!

But anyway... I know shit happens, but if the shit is preventable, then I shall prevent it to the best of my ability Occupying myself till I can hardly read the computer screen, prevents that particular occurence of shit.
