MP,

Did you know they sell spare legs for the fish? I heard that they get removed in the US. Had one for ages now but it has not been touched dispite my regular blocking of the Hillsung driveway.

Default What's on your car?

I did a quick search but didn't find much about what various forum members have on their cars, bikes, etc in the way of stickers, emblems etc, and what reactions you've noticed.

One of the reasons I ended up here is that I found a wealth of atheist merchandise when I googled 'atheist tshirt' one day. I had actual tears of laughter pouring down my face and got next to no work done that day. I was looking for something to wear piss off my "born again"/lay preacher/training to be a counsellor sister-in-law. She turned up to a family function wearing her bright blue "Jesus all about life" tshirt (matching those banners) She knows our thoughts on how we want our kids to be raised, but has repeatedly given them books with bible stories, a talking "prayer bear" etc. Lately though, neither her nor her (agnostic I think) husband have given them anything at all, so maybe the message has gotten across..

I didn't end up with a tshirt (yet) but did find some great stickers for my car at zazzle.com. It's currently sporting a Darwin fish and a quote (source unknown) "Do good for goodness' sake - Atheist doesn't mean amoral" On order is an Evolve fish and a Science fish/rocket, from darwinfish.com

Reactions? Nothing overt so far, but I've seen quite a few sidelong stares. I sometimes park in a uniting church carpark opposite my kids' school, and I can hardly wait for someone to say something negative so I can fire off some suitable retorts

I haven't worked out how to display the "ATHEISM - CELEBRATE REASON" sticker on my motorcycle in a way that allows easy removal yet.
I would like a FSM sticker, I've seen a few on cars in Blacktown but I can't work out where they get them from in NSW here.
Perhaps there should be more shirts with this kind of stuff on:

Just an example, I'm sure there are many possibilities. Christians are easy to piss off.

I have seen a piranha eating a Jesus fish and found it quite clever, but my cynical side stops me from putting anything on my car in case of any unstable hater who happens to take issue with it when I'm not around.

There was a thread ages ago on this but I'll have to try to find it later as I am sure some photos were posted.

EDIT by Black: Sorted, mate. It's right here.

As to what stickers I have on my car, and reactions thereto, see here.

LOL TwoDogs, that's so out there I wonder how I missed it!! Maybe the image of your car subconsciously stuck with me while I was browsing here a while back before joining in

Like Fearless, I have thought about what some religious nutjob might do to my car if they took umbrage. That's one of the reasons I chose the goodness quote rather than any of the much ruder and funnier stickers on offer. However, I suspect the irony of damaging someone else's property might be lost on said nutjob It would provide plenty of ammo if I were to spring them in the act though.
