Here's an oldie but a goodie. I propose that we try to write a story by each adding a single word at a time and seeing what we can come up with.

Moving into meta-thread: would the story be more enjoyable, and less like beat poetry, if each word made syntactical sense with the preceding words?
It may be valuable to add punctuation as well as words?
