agnostic vs atheist

Just going through some of Penn Jillette's blog video's, trying to catch up on the ones I have missed over the last few months. I came across this video of Penn discussing the agnostic vs atheist idea, and his definition of what they are. The only question about faith that he cares about is whether you believe in a god, not whether god exists or not and that is essentially what an atheist is. The final part in the video is spot on.

Although, I agree with his definitions, the final part bothered me alot. I don't see someone as an atheist, just because they have enough sense not to kill their children. These people are lacking good sense in many other ways...in my opinion, anyway.

The christians that are not mentally ill, will just see most of the biblical stories as holy parables, which is still a bit dysfunctional because it is a form of denial. And we've all seen the bad result of what happens when too many of them start voting on the same thing.

I think the non-mentally ill christians, should take responsibility for the actions of the mentally ill ones. After all, they were the ones that told everyone their lives were being run by imaginary g-ds and demons.
