Must remember to wear flat, easy-to-run-in shoes to the Saturday arvo session so we can sprint "home" the second it finishes to get frocked up!
Can I join in on the run! I'm staying at the travelodge too and I want a shower before dolling myself up for the dinner thank you very much! lol!

I also want to say that this thread is the most important one about the convention.

Sure! Now, just need to convince my partner that it is worthwhile hurrying back or I may need to leave him in my dust

I like a woman who has her priorities straight

Okay, so the plan is, wear flat, comfortable shoes to the Sat arvo session, ie. footwear you can run in! The VERY SECOND it finishes, we're out the door, doing the dash to the Travelodge. In fact, we should sit at the back, closest to the exits.

No dilly-dallying after the session, just bolt straight for the hotel.

Prior to, the organised woman will have her dinner outfit all laid out on the bed, ready to go, accessories, shoes, etc. within easy reach.

This is a challenge ladies, but I believe it can be done!

Leave him in your dust ....I'm sure he wouldn't be able to keep up with women determined to properly frock up anyway!

I don't know exactly how far the Travelodge is, but if you're organised, all of you piling into a taxi is an option. As I remember it, there's a taxi rank outside the door (I was at a conference there in November.)

No, a taxi would take too long and cost too much!

It's a sprint down Southbank - literally alongside the river.

I hope it's a nice night for a run
