What Will You Be Wearing?

I am unfortunately not going to the Dinner on the Saturday night (as of yet, still hoping the money will suddenly appear in front of me!), but I did notice that on the Friday night there is a Cocktail Event. I am guessing this is open to everyone (silly question )? Am wondering if people are going to get snazzied up for this considering it is a 'cocktail' event?

And also, please excuse my lack of brain power, but what is the registration that commences at 5:45?

i assumed the cocktail event was invite only. if its open to everyone then im gonna have to start shopping for another dress. cant have harris or dawkins seeing me in any old thing

They can be a little tricky.

Is it pic on your computer, or one on teh interwebz?

Easiest way I've found for a pic on teh interwebz, is to right-click on the picture, and copy the info in "Address (URL)". You then click on the "Insert Picture": button in the toolbar above (next to the "Quote Tags" button), and paste the copied URL into the box.

ADD: for example, the Address (URL) for my avatar pic might be: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQKzDz0AWfj8vpte_GJ8ozH8dBIq_Iw9 LRvGutLzNwPqp5jA2MvVQ

That is the info that needs to be copied and pasted into the "Insert Picture" field.

EDIT: Mr B has already pointed to the existing info on this, which may be more accurate.

Invite only? Is it part of the dinner ticket?

If that's so, what about the rest of the evening? Is the whole night invite only?
