I almost never click the like button, or the thank you button, it has to be a very special post for me to do that. And another thing, I have no idea of the number of likes and thank you's I have received, if I look at the top right corner of the page when I am logged in I have 842 unacknowledged notifications. (shrug)

I have long ago stopped measuring my worth, and others worth, by the amount of adulation bestowed, maybe it's a fault on my part, but it makes for a much calmer and serene time in this social media oriented world of ours.

Azu - I have to admit that I am reluctant to engage with you.

That reluctance is based on your past behaviour.

I don't understand why you feel entitled to praise and then rage at us when we don't meet this unvoiced expectation.

Can you please explain?

I tend to click "Like" when someone expresses my feelings on a subject better than I could have done so myself.

I tend to click "Thank" when someone posts something that I can learn from, or that opens my mind a little. Or expresses an opposing point of view and does so in a persuasive way that makes me think.

If you're not getting too many "Likes" or "Thanks" from myself or others, it may simply be that not many of your posts fall under those categories. It doesn't mean that your posts are not valuable or that I don't enjoy reading them.

I wanted to ensure that I'm treated no differently from others - for equity's sake. I felt that I was treated as less valuable than others would be.

P.S. I never seek greater praise than normal - I only felt I was lower than normal so I decided to speak out and re-evaluate upon consensus.

Yes, I'm open to a suggestion, depending on what it exactly is - let's see how that turns out. Tell me what your suggestion is.

You may want to share your thoughts before they become overwhelming.

That would allow me to help you.

Do you think that you can do that?

Yes, that would be great. This is what I call venting my anger out when I find that I can no longer remain silent, endure and tolerate the build up of distresses related to how I feel treated. However, instead of venting anger, I should continue to calm down but communicate with someone like you and seek support.

I'll get started on that shortly but currently I'm consulting someone re some technical support issues on my software atm.

From my experience, everyone has been polite and respectful of you.

Ultimately this is a venue for discussion. No one owes me anything. I owe them nothing either, except evidence for any claims I make.
