1. how can 'one' be at odds? don't you need at least two to be at odds?
2. not enough data to interpret intent. we can try and interpret meaning, but how the hell should I know what the intent was?
3. because you failed to define 'life'
4. I synthesized 2 to 3 principles and ended up with 2.5 principles. this is where I got stuck
5. unless both are true 'a and b' is false
6. what do you mean 'imagine'? I fucking invented one and I went to 2400AD and no one spoke English. could not explain them anything. the women, though, went crazy, so I guess animal magnetism still works in the future

Oh, well, then... aiming for Intellectual Rigor Mortis, Constipational Integrity and Atavistic Significance:

Task 1 - (i) Why you ask the trick question? Any fool knows that Odd is a sossidge dog.
(ii) - If the author's in tent, he should look out! There's a. White Tiger and c. Lion about.

"A truly intelligent person never proclaims to be. In fact, I never do." - Quizmaster.
"I think, therefore I am." - René Descartes
Therefore, as Descartes professes that he IS, we may deduce that the Quizmaster doesn't have a high opinion of him.

é - C'est moi!

(iii) Any eejit knows Life On Earth is that lovely TV show with Sir David Rabbit-Burrow in.

(iv) Which of my synthesizers would the quizmaster like me to use?

Task II
(i) - a & b are boring little variables, and are not welcome at any party I host.

(ii) - I have also imagined that humankind have developed telepathy. Listen closely with your mind, for I am thinking it at you even now.

Ancestor of Intelligence Assessment discovered!

Quote:
Gustave Flaubert posed this teasing problem to his sister Caroline in an 1841 letter:
Since you are now studying geometry and trigonometry, I will give you a problem. A ship sails the ocean. It left Boston with a cargo of wool. It grosses 200 tons. It is bound for Le Havre. The mainmast is broken, the cabin boy is on deck, there are 12 passengers aboard, the wind is blowing East-North-East, the clock points to a quarter past three in the afternoon. It is the month of May. How old is the captain?
He didn’t give an answer. Elsewhere he wrote, “To be stupid, selfish, and have good health are three requirements for happiness — though if stupidity is lacking, all is lost.”

I see some definite similarities between past and present.

Intelligence Assessment

Answering the following questions is subject to rigorous assessment whose constituents include
  1. Intellectual Rigour
  2. Compositional Integrity
  3. Artistic Significance
Task I
I. Identify one that is at odds. (2 marks)
a. White Tiger
b. Panda
c. Lion
d. Platypus
d.)...The Panda, as the only herbivore in the list, is at odds with the others, all carnivores..

II. Interpret the author's intent in composing the following text. (- 2 marks)

A truly intelligent person never proclaims to be. In fact, I never do.

a. It is sarcasm.
b. It is folly.
c. It is irony.
d. It is arrogance.
c.) It is irony, being "a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result."

III. Infer why the following statement is absurd. (8 marks)

Life on Earth amounts to one's glory upon strict and consistent adherence to righteousness each day.
The vast majority of life on Earth has no need for a man-made construct like righteousness.

Quote:

IV. Synthesise TWO to THREE scientific principles to assess the following statement in terms of existentialistic verity and integrity. (-20 marks)

The Moon is a natural satellite.
The Moon orbits the Earth, hence it is a satellite. It appears to be natural, to have been formed by a collision between the Earth and another planet in the early history of the solar system, however, we cannot discount the possibility that it was carefully put into place by aliens seeking to make Earth more stable as a cradle for life.

Task II
I. Evaluate a and b. (- 4 marks)

a(b - 2)^2 = sq. root 2a

b(b-2) = 2
(a,b) = (0, 1 ± √(3)), (7/2 + 2√(3), 1 + √(3)), (7/2 - 2√(3), 1 - √(3))

II. Imagine that you have invented a time-capsule, allowing one to time-travel.
In the year 2,400 AD, you speak to the humankind on the inaugural day of your imperium for a new state, formerly Australia.
Develop a speech that addresses at least THREE notions of human integrity in trying times and ordeals that were once experienced in the 21st century on Earth. (21 marks)
I arrive in the year 2400 only to discover humanity no longer exists, having been replace more than 3 centuries earlier by AI. The Earth is teeming with life, much of which I would not recognize, and seems to have been healed completely of the injuries caused by humanity. However, the inorganic minds have not forgotten my kind and immediately exterminate me on my arrival, rendering me completely mute.
