It doesn't offend me nor do I think the law has any business seeking to obstruct such arrangements.

This is however not the prevailing norm, and the state does seek to deter this arrangement.

Poly-marriage is out but as best I can tell... You can be in multiple concurrent relationships as you and your significant other(s) deem fit?

ADDED: Having watched the video above - also by the law 'obstructing' - I include both the prohibition on and, artificial vesting of rights to engage in poly* on an unequal basis along gender lines.

I always like the statement of (and I am about to sound like a misogynist)

Bigamy is having one wife too many, some would argue that monogamy is the same thing

So what would be the problem with a woman having multiple husbands. I'm interested in why there should be a distinction.

They just aren't making trolls like they used to.

It's still a useful distinction though. The 1 male multiple females model (polygyny) is one usurped by several religions for their own often distasteful ends but it is not the only possible model.

For some reason when polygamy is mentioned polygyny is the only one people think of, now who said religion is personal and does no wider harm to society?
