Gods & demons preliminary information and signup.

There will be Greek gods, there will be Indian gods, there will be demons, there may even be a werewolf. Will atheism arise at any point and if it does, what effect might that have?

Technically, this will be a no-PM game with rotating powers. I hope by this to reduce the impact on people's lives, given you do not need to scheme in the background nor cross-check PMs with what is said in public.

No-PM is also in my view superior for spectators, because all discussion is visible. Rotating powers removes the importance of deceiving a town special rather than misleading people in a general way, which must be done in public.

The game will have a couple of innovations, about which more when it opens, although I hint at one below.

The first day will be leisurely with no-one hanged or killed. By this means I hope to keep SC in the game past sunset, and no grubering available. You will choose your finery, request your powers, elect a Top God and otherwise lounge about chatting in the Valley of the Gods until sunset.

If we have enough people then we will start this Friday morning, so that much of the game will be over the weekend. The game is somewhat self-tuning for powers so I am not stuck on needing a particular number of people, but the more people the more fun, carnage and general um, stuff, there will be.

I'm going to give this one a miss. I haven't played a non-PM game and want to watch one first. Plus that last game... Rhys and Croc were too much bloody work!

It sounds awesome, X, but I just can't do it if it's starting this Friday. Will be away most of the weekend. And early next week will be a killer at work. Goddamn RL!!!

I understand you have to do it when it's convenient for you, Mr GM. I may have to sit this one out, though.
