Default weekly podcast !

I hope I can suggest this to someone.
I so enjoyed the quality and variety of the speakers.
and have followed up with reading and watching youtube
Having a weekly podcast would be great !
and also feed into the forum's
I realise this would take some skills and need wise selection of content !
expanding the ideas via more media is a great opportunity

Hello Gumboo
I agree. A podcast making the most of the breadth of knowledge and experience on this forum would be great. Several Australian podcasts by AFA members, or regularly featuring AFA members, are already available. None of them on their own constitutes a distilled daily or weekly fix of AFA forum, but they can keep you abreast of current events and give you a critical thinking workout.
The Token Skeptic
The Psuedo Scientists
The Imaginary Friends

I wouldn't be at all surprised if other projects are in the pipeline, as this forum houses much talent and passion.

...It took a few years, but the wish has been granted for a monthly podcast (as it's just too difficult with one main person pulling it all together - do feel free to contribute segments, forum-ites!)

You can find it at:

For it to be weekly, it would have to be a paying proposition.

AND YOU'D BE FIRST ON THE PAYROLL!

(after I fixed my car... :/ )

In fact, we should look into doing a Paypal or Patreon. We'd have to split the fees though, cause we might get more submissions of content. See how it goes?

oh holy hades, man, I'm up at 3am tomorrow morning to do the 4-6am show as the fundraiser for RTRFM; then I'm producing the show from 9-noon, then I'm heading out to record a pro-vaccination lecture and then IF I have any more spoons left, there's another ScienceWeek gig happening in the city, and I only got about three hours sleep today because of soddingdamned editing and computer games...

We need to look into cloning. Stat. Then I can blame my lazy clones for not keeping the standards up.

I'm certainly open to exploring such possibilities (fuck knows I could use a hand with the bills) but it would absolutely start with me getting 1%, given the amount of work you put in.

Fuck, I just dobbed myself in to produce more, didn't I?

As I suspected, sludge-soft! Three hours sleep!

New ep out for this week! Thinking of the next one - as always, send in content if you like!

http://atheistfoundation.org.au/podcast/episode-7/

Dr Karen Garst is an atheist and a life-long feminist, who is taking her Faithless Feminist views to the printed page. She’s currently editing a book about experiences as atheist women, drawing together a number of atheists and agnostics for her project. You can find her blog (and many YouTube videos) at FaithlessFeminist.com.

The show also features:

Paul Fidalgo, the international correspondent for the AtheistAus Podcast – you can find more secular and atheist news and cutting edge blogging by Paul at iMortal on Patheos blogs and on the The Morning Heresy:

The Vatican seems to be doing some damage control around the Kim Davis secret meeting. Not only did it distance Pope Francis from her claims that he endorsed her stand on same-sex marriage, it said the only “real audience” Francis had in Washington was with a small group that included a gay couple.
Water Mars, Mars water, water water… and there’s conspiracies about it already?
Why repealing blasphemy laws might help promote religious freedom with CFI’s Michael De Dora.
And check out episodes of Paul’s podcast Thinkery and more on his sites and Twitter on twitter.com/PaulFidalgo

In Australian and AFA forum board news – our correspondent GoldenMane gives us the lowdown on what’s happened this month on the boards. Join him and the lively crowd at the AFA Forums.
