Mr Black it is indeed 4 am in this part of the world. I have to get going soon but I'm sure if I come back you'll be able to remind me exactly where I left off and give me the links. You're very good like that, thanks

I asked you a question on the other thread. Decide what you want to do. If you want to continue this discussion and the previously mentioned discussion on atheisms then say so.

And without those, your Myers matter cannot be satisfactorily dealt with.

(Jings, I went back through your posting history: I bet you're not popular with the home team since late July.)
Would it not be a lot less complicated just to answer the question and say you wished to continue the previous discussion.

What do you mean I'm not popular with the home team?
What home team? Are you playing Mr. Mysterious, Mr. Black?

Shuffling around with veiled snide little statements intimating some vague mysterious knowledge of events unmentioned is not really very helpful Mr. Black especially when you can't answer simple direct questions.

It's not cannot, but will not until you do some reading, as previously indicated.

As far as the late July thing, didn't you make some serious allegations about a senior member of Atheist Ireland here? What became of that?
Mr Black it would be simpler just to say "Yes FXR, I wish to continue the previous discussion but first I suggest you read A first".

As regards the other matter Mr. Black it's gone way past that now. What you're referring to as serious is relatively very mild compared to what's transpired since. But that's a whole other discussion which I'll wager will never be hosted anywhere. I'm of the opinion that atheism should question atheism with the same unrelenting determination it questions religion. In fact I believe that's what the basis of science is: unrelenting questioning.

I'm not on a team Mr. Black. Sure for fuck's sake who'd have me anyway

Gotta go I have to finish mopping the floors of this multi story office block in down town Dublin. Good night/morning Mr. Black.

That would be the one where FXR had some difficulty with truth. I expect FXR stopped owing to resource shortages in basic materials, like straw.

I recall FXR though, as prone to confusion. Perhaps on the atheism issue he mislaid the definitions and GBL provided. I was so waiting for more like this.

All hands to the definition then! I too would like to know the background has been read first though.

Thread is making me unhappy!

Where I work I have to pretend I am happy to the general public for the
sake of making other people feel good. A superficial happiness.

Not really that much different I suspect.

Oh, please . What do you think members do here, in various forms, every day? Do you consider yourself the One True SkepticTM, perhaps?

Unfortunately, variations of your canard have been produced as a means of avoiding specific questions, on more than one occasion.

So, why don't you contribute to what you profess to value so highly, and answer the questions put to you? Answering a question with another question, and using that as a pretext to avoid engagement, is pretty lame, no?

Based on your quoted statement above, you should be thrilled to be questioned with such alleged *unrelenting determination*. Being such a strong advocate for it, and all...
