Just the forums or are other web pages the same?

Which browser are you using? In firefox there is a view menu under zoom sub heading you can reset the view or tweak it.

Try pressing CTRL and - and see how much it varies.

Ha, np... I have two cats in this household. They just love to sit on my keyboard or lay on it... they can make things happen that I have never seen happen before!

Ctrl - 0 should reset the text size to your normal size.

Ctrl and mouse wheel will zoom screen size up in and out. Easy to do.

heh... You have one of those fancy ATI graphics cards with the Catalyst control panel installed I guess? This can rotate the screen and flip it upside down and all that.

Ummm I don't know when I got it I told the nice boys at the shop that I wasn't very good with computers, so it needed to do things really well and fast, because I get grumpy if stuff takes too long. And wallah my lovely new fast laptop. As to the flippy screen, apparently it's a legit function (why???) and I'm with Fearless, I blame the cat

I suspect that function is more for those who mount their screens in confined spaces (eg. public places) - how the hell that makes it into home desktop computers I do not know, but it could be people mount their monitors upside down.
