I've taken some time off work this week, so I thought that I would do something constructive like, ride my bike lots.
End Result, 4 days, 605km Day 1 - Coast Rd to Wollongong, Mt Keira Distance: 192.55km Time: 6:28:51 Average: 29.7km/hr Elevation Gain: 2,540m Calories Burnt: 3,191 Day 2 - West Head/Akuna Bay Distance: 115.08km Time: 3:45:03 Average: 30.7km/hr Elevation Gain: 1,449m Calories Burnt: 1,817 Day 3 - Katoomba Distance: 200.26km Time: 6:00:41 Average: 33.3km/hr Elevation Gain: 1,823m Calories Burnt: 2,771 Day 4 - Waterfall/Royal National Park Distance: 96.88km Time: 3:10:06 Average: 30.6km/hr Elevation Gain: 1,058m Calories Burnt: 1,374 I'm taking tomorrow off the bike before doing another 200km on the weekend (100km Saturday, and 100km on Sunday). Strangely enough, I actually feel pretty good. The ride on Monday was probably the hardest, but the one to Katoomba was also pretty tough, but for different reasons. James |

You've inspired me to get back on the bike.

Well done James!
I couldn't quite match your distances on my recent walks though, as I could only average about 3km/hr including rest, food, & photo breaks; I can usually manage 6km/hr on flat ground.
