Default Um there really wasn't any "coming out" LOL

I guess you can say i came from a catholic family, but not a strict one. I've been baptised, confirmed and reconciled and I went to a catholic primary school. But we only occasionally went to church. Mum still doesn't like it when I blaspheme but I do it anyway (sometimes just to annoy her LOL).

I guess my first thoughts against religion came very young even before i really even understood what religion was, I remember thinking that it was wrong that catholic priests couldn't get married and have children. Even my immature child brain thought that it was wrong to deny our animal instincts/urges and figured that no god would require that before he/she would love us.

But as far as "coming out" it didn't really happen. Everyone knew from early on that my worship seemed to lean towards chocolate instead hehe.

i think vegemite is jewish owned darwinsbulldog (it's kraft right?) I don't believe in any religion be it christian, jewish, muslim or otherwise, but i don't go to the trouble of boycotting products owned by religious groups because a) there are probably companies out there that dont share that information and b) i'd probably starve to death LOL

I didn't have a comming out either. But that was because I was raised as an athiest, which is different to being brought up with a religion. I kind of regret not getting to come to being an athiest by my self. Who knows what I would have decided though if I was left to make the descision.

Ahhh...but the decision is still yours. In fact it must be yours.

Evaluate all the available information and reach your own conclusions.

(I'm pretty sure I can guess which way your opinion will lie though )

there was no coming out from me either, i was raised in a secular family. I think we went to church once and my mum got up and left.

All i remember about a superstitious past was nothing more than old wives tales like "its bad luck to open an umbrella inside" etc.

My mother was a bit of a fruit cake but made me laugh.
