Caliope,

(1) Describe your god
(2) Prove it exists

Most of us look forward to the 2011 census results in Australia and similar countries, such as the UK, Canada and NZ (tho' NZ's has been postponed until 2013 b/c of the Chch earthquakes)

I've seen Christians refer to it as a post-Christian country.

What are Christian values in plain English?

[Do they include special pleading, right to discriminate, conflating faith with reason, seekers of theocratic rule, compulsory religious education, mysogyny, etc.]

Some proof that the governments you are naming actually declare themselves atheist: that would be a good start.

Then, as you have failed dismally to do with China, you'll only need to prove that imprisonment, harassment, etc, is only done to the religious, and not to all dissidents.
So you never use wikipedia as a source of evidence. I mean common knowledge should be enough to know that the Chinese government is officially atheist.
But if you are even going to reject wikipedia, which has it's own rigorous vetting process then I don't know how you can ask for more evidence, seriously.

It just depends on what you will accept as evidence.

It is a start Caliope, but you can do better. Randomly asserting facts from Wiki, without fully understanding them, gets your face rubbed in them (them being the excrement referred to above).

What I would love you to do is provide evidence of god (dog). Can you do it, yes or no?

While your at it please detail the brand of dog you maintain is real. Define these terms clearly and succinctly.

By their fruits, and all that, old chap.
Well wikipedia has stated that Chinas government has been continually atheist since 1949.
Do you believe this or are you skeptical?

I won't accept the Bible as evidence.

Can atheists be civil, and charitable when they talk to people about their religion and God, or is this too much to expect.

There's no need to be sorry; I'm quite impressed with the speed of your responses to a barrage of questions.
