Thanks for the game everyone involved.
DB can't say he's played Mafia unless he's been deaded at least once. So I was doing him a favour.

Just got in to hear the good news. Thanks heaps Durro, and thanks for not making me talk in poems, upside down, with no 'e's, Shakespearean, biblical and gushy luvvie duvvie stuff while I was trying to get my head around the game. I surely would have suffered some kind of cranial explosion.

Well done team town! A special thanks to the main man Xeno who coordinated town movements beautifully.

It's been great fun playing with you guys! Congratulations to my fellow good elves, especially Xeno (if I may single him out) and commiserations to the bad elves who had a very unlucky break right at the beginning.

At least I'm spared the consequences of my gift today, which would have had me complaining bitterly about the cold in every post. Mind you, as a limey I'm used to whinging about the weather

Many thanks to Durro who is one of the best GMs I know. Great game as always, Durro. Have you thought about trying out 'Werewolves' with this crowd?

BTW, I contemplated not doing a kill last night but decided, as all was lost, to end DB's Mafia virginity by having him killed. Hope you don't mind DB.

Bwah hah ha ha ha...

Maybe in a couple of months.

Oh, I lost my reply earlier this afternoon (due to a modem problem at work), in which I thanked you all for playing with a positive spirit, but also gave Voltairine the GM's Encouragement Award for not only surviving 4 days but getting a hat trick with the immunity challenges. Well done that lady.

It was a fun game to watch. The game was designed to be better balanced than what it ended up being, but the blocks of the scum team on nights 1, 2 and 3 and Xeno's outing early on were harsh blows. I also probably wouldn't give the SK an opportunity to be cured in a smallish game like this (works OK with 27 players though!) and as a thought for future reference, perhaps giving the scum the chance to swap presents around within their team might be useful for them.

But it was my pleasure to bring you this slightly different game format and I hope you enjoyed it. As Blip mentions, I do have another type of game which could take Mafia to the next level yet again, but I think it's best for me to bow out for a bit and let a few other people take the reins and run some games.

Cheers.

Steve

I had FUN! Thanks everyone for playing and big love to Durro for running the whole shebang. I particularly like my own demise.

Yep. I've been in there. It's a vewy vewy quiet write board.

I forgot to say a special thanks to Xeno for putting up with my gazillion pm's throughout the game too.

I've got the zombie one but have forgotten the password for the scum one. Maybe Durro Mjt or Volts could provide it. Will do the other one when I get home.
