The Nizkor Project- Logical Fallacies

Atheist: n; A person to be pitied in that he is unable to believe things for which there is no evidence, and who has thus deprived himself of a convenient means of feeling superior to others.

Fridge.

After some serious defilement, of course.

(BTW - How does one get hold of those stickers when one is not attending atheist conventions?)

Yes the fridge is good however doubly so if it's semi enclosed lots of hidey places.

Must also take double sided tape next motel visit,.. the possibilities increase the creative ways of locating said publication.

Whilst I enjoy the challenge of HTB (hide the bible) I should also explore the other challenging and creative realise of bible illustration.

I insist if we must have bibles, that they be on that excellent thin, strong paper-perfect for "rollies". Most hotels I use are usually ungenerous with the loo paper, so a Bible or Koran can save the day!

I have to relay a story from a good friend of mine. He'd booked into a hotel for a few days. On the first night he decided to read the bible (on his list for ages) but thought he would relax a bit and read in the bath. Being the babble he was asleep in short order and the book was soaked. Bugger! Thinking he was doing the right thing he attempted to squeeze the water out by putting it under the leg of the spare bed. Wouldn't you know he forgot it was there until packing up by which time it had dried to a solid lump. Not a page could be separated but you could not tell from the cover.
So the lesson is never saturate your hotel dribble as soon as you arrive and squeeze it dry for as long as possible if you ever want to read it again.

I think we should cut out all the naughty bits first.

[edit]Ooooh that gave me an idea. Take out pages and leave clues in the book as to where the pages may be found. Maybe chain this, with another clue on the first lot of pages leading to the second lot. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee![/edit]

Burden of proof is the obligation on somebody presenting a claim to provide evidence to support its truth (a warrant). Once evidence has been presented, it is up to any opposing "side" to show the evidence presented is not adequate. If claims were accepted without warrants, then every claim could simultaneously be claimed to be true.

History isn't written by the victors. It's written by the people with the time machines.
