Default Womanliness

Similar to my previous thread on manliness, I've decided to devote this thread to the topic of womanliness.

I'm very curious to understand its terms and use amongst females and how men might view the same.

What is your definition of womanliness Azu and we can see if we agree.
This can also include those who feel womanly and not necessarily having a physical 'female' gender.

I have no say on that, only inviting women to define it for me to suit my curiosity. I'm not a woman so I'm not really sure.

*Snip*

He is manly if he is emotionally resilient and controls temper whilst handling irritations and annoyances.

He is manly if he exercises integrity, is honest and truthful. He is manly if he has the courage to speak the truth in embarrassing and risky situations.

He is manly if he is courteous, kind and sensitive about one another's feelings.

He is manly if he exercises intelligence and critical thinking.

He is manly if he applies creativity and innovation to solving problems and design.

He is manly if he endures and calms down, does not complain and perseveres especially when confronted with people underestimating and belittling his dignity.

He is manly if he is patient and lenient.

He is manly if he doesn't cry and is stoic.

Pretty much the same as this but substitute manly for womanly. Except the crying thing. Crying is good for everyone.

This is really interesting, thanks! BTW, may I ask where this is coming from? Is it your guess or your authentic research or personal experiences, were you a woman?

Blue Lightning, why don't you express your criticisms here on my OP?

I thought I was genuinely and innocently open-minded and curious but that you clicked dislike led me to wonder if I was apparently very sexist without realising so - was I?

In those days spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were real men, women were real women and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri.

Please don't take offence so readily, or take personal responsibility if your ideas are refuted, Azu.

There are more possibilities than your being sexist. For example, you may simply be wrong.
