Default Rationalism is definitely not a humanism

Rational-ism is an oxymoron. (Rationality does not equate to rationalism.)

Carusmm does have a point though. Vulcans like Spock have logic, but they are not human.....oh wait, Vulcans don't exist!

Something borrowed but mercifully short to begin with. As Sir Francis Bacon, the arch-empiricist, said: Empiricists are like ants, they collect; rationalists are like spiders, they spin threads out of themselves.

That is why modern science uses both rationalism and empiricism in equal measure as they tend to cancel out each other's weaknesses.

It doesn't. Lamarck was wrong.

Or do you mean epigenetics? Epigentics is not Lamarckism, even if there are some superficial similarities.
