I'm not saying it's unreliable but as BlueDevil stated: it's not easy to change peoples behaviour, so if you have a lot of people saying that are Catholic or Christian and they aren't..it's going to skew the data. The results could be more accurate if people were more accurate in their answers.

Thank you WLB for your succinctly articulated points. The High Court one I have been trying to convey in other threads albeit frustratingly poorly.

Sometimes you have to drive a wedge in on a seemingly impossible quandary... if it won't hold then you find another wedge, you don't sulk or give up. You give people like Ron the accolade he deserves for such a brave and difficult feat, even if it wasn't all it should have been it is still a step forward. How much publicity did it bring to the masses? Possibly the most significant court ruling in a whole year surely has to create a stirring in people it hadn't before. It raised awareness, which in itself is a powerful ally for common sense and reason.

The most important thing is to keep up the pressure and momentum until change comes about, no matter how much crying, complaining and dirty tactics get in the way.

I wish I could do more right now myself, but even just talking about it helps.

Nice OP, WLB.

I'm very happy with the census results.

All the major religions declined in percentage, while "no religion" increased 3.6%.

I can't complain about that.

yeah. YEAH. I've been saying this for a while now, when friends feel like giving up, and I tell them, slow change is still change. We're growing up as a species. Don't let the bastards break you.

Unless you want to gather a mob and march around with pitchforks and flaming sticks... Or maybe flaming pitchfoks? Flaming pitchforks are cool right?
