As much as I am glad I didn't waste too much time on it, at least you can keep theists well and truly on their toes if nothing else. I see one start talking and I'm looking around the room for the nearest exit JIC... or a place where I can vomit if required.

That said, I try not to be lazy and do look up much of what I don't know about (which is more than I care to admit ha ha *hack*) which I am told by my wife is more than what many others tend to do.

Problem is, the more I read, the more I wish I hadn't much of the time.

We need to start here, a quote from a book shouldn't make you question your foundations of reason unless those are already weak in some way, and the plain fact is they don't do reason, they don't have a reasonable basis from which to argue. They can't curse your diggs, well they can, but it will have no effect unless you believe it will, and this is why I say, with no offense intended, that you should look at more firmly grounding yourself.

Basically its this, you don't need to be able to argue back, you just need to understand that their arguments are all based on a fantasy. Say no thanks you and close the door, that's all I do.

I tell the JWs I'm an atheist; they say, "Fair enough," and go next door.

I haven't had Mormon callers for decades.
