At 0315 last night, not far from home, Dog and I were treated to an impromptu pole-dancing performance from two of the local brushtails.
Top Possum twirled around halfway up the post, before leaving for a nearby bunya pine, via a handy branch.

Lower Possum leapt onto the pole and executed a kind of pinwheel movement before leaping off again, presumably due to the other possum obscuring the way up.

Is there a way to upload directly from my hard drive? Or I have to put picture somewhere on the net first and link to it?

Note 'Manage attachments' at the bottom.

Click on that and a new window will open with valid files and sizes.

Click upload, wait for it to upload and close window.

File will be below the text box.

Pale-headed rosella, nesting in a handy hole in one of the park's plane trees.

Taken from 20+ metres through a windshield.

Young Canteloupe, the Brushtail Possum at 0333 last night.

Mother poss' Acacia was close by, but is more inclined to use her ninja skills.
