Do you have any idea as to what frog species they are?
I was hoping no one would ask, two dogs

I suspect a variety of these, or maybe one of them. We intend to investigate further when they transform into frogs.

They ate all of the green algae or whatever on the rocks which was quite extensive to the point that the rocks were made bare. Honestly, there are so many of them we have had to supplement their feed with rabbit pellets which they devour very efficiently.

They may have a plan to take over the world. Not sure yet. It's a tad too early to know.

Not only are tadpoles under threat from White-faced herons, so are the eggs or the young of ravens apparently, going by the tiff happening on the pole. Ravens will chase away Wedge-tailed eagles to incredible heights but the long sharp looking beak of the heron seems to have this one quite nervous.

Frogs, cicadas, and a light drizzle, in my backyard (you might need to turn your volume up).

With the Eastern Koels (Eudynamys orientalis) regularly going off in the early hours of the morning

and the Channel-billed Cuckoos (Scythrops novaehollandiae) going off at any time of day

it's quite noisy around here.

Retirement is mostly about dog-walking. Dog v2.0 loves to go out at about 0200, and likes to cover at least a 5km circuit.

We take a camera.

Thanks, Ms Fishie!

We were lucky enough to get follow-up shots of young Canteloupe last night.

It's always good to see young brushtails, as we lose quite a few to traffic round here.
