I did say Greek Mythology wolty, so I think that I'm covered there. I think that Odysseus encountered her, but he is not recorded as the one who killed her.

That's who I was under the impression it was.

Which means that according to the movie several years ago, it was Sam Worthington.

I didn't think that he beheaded her with the shield, but he was able to use the reflection on the inside of the shield to look at medusa.
