Default Failed end of time predictions - Looking for references

I am gathering information for a new video regarding the past failed and future end of time predictions.

I have the mormons, bible students and jw's covered.

Many of the references provided on the link below are of secondary sources and very poor accounts, some even are from what another person said, many other sources are suspicious.

I am looking for references that is accepted academically, like scanned copies of documentation from the church.

A good place to start might be with some of the newer Christian sects, such as Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Advents, which are both based on failed prophecy.

For a good explanation of millenarian movements generally, I highly recommend 'New Heaven,New Earth" By Kenhelm Burridge. It's also worth remembering that Christianity itself is a failed millenarian movement

The Seventh-day Adventist Church[2][3] is a Protestant Christian[4] denomination distinguished by its observance of Saturday,[5] the original seventh day of the Judeo-Christian week, as the Sabbath, and by its emphasis on the imminent second coming (Advent) of Jesus Christ. The denomination grew out of the Millerite movement in the United States during the middle part of the 19th century and was formally established in 1863.[6] Among its founders was Ellen G. White, whose extensive writings are still held in high regard by the church today.[7]

Jehovah's Witnesses is a millenialist restorationist Christian denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity.[2] The organization reports worldwide membership of over 7.65 million adherents involved in evangelism,[3] convention attendance of over 12 million, and annual Memorial attendance of over 19.3 million.[4][5] They are directed by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, a group of elders in Brooklyn, New York, that establishes all doctrines.[6][7][8] Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs are based on their interpretations of the Bible[9][10] and they prefer to use their own translation, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.[11][12][13][14] They believe that the destruction of the present world system at Armageddon is imminent, and that the establishment of God's kingdom on earth is the only solution for all problems faced by humankind.[15]
