Slight update to code so you don’t have to select the checkbox.
<form class="poll-form" action="http://www2b.abc.net.au/votecentral/View/SubmitVote.aspx" method="post"> <INPUT id=m_hhidRound value=1193 type=hidden name=m_hhidRound><INPUT id=m_hhidContentIndex value=0 type=hidden name=m_hhidContentIndex><INPUT id=CSS type=hidden name=CSS><INPUT id=r value=http://www.abc.net.au/news/thedrum/polls/ type=hidden name=r> <P class=poll-question>Should same-sex couples be able to have children by surrogacy?</P> <UL class=poll-answers> <LI class=poll-answer><INPUT id=answer0 value=55010 type=radio checked=true name=m_ucCandidateSelectionList:m_ucSelectionList: m_ctlSelectionList:VoteRadioGroupCandidates> <LABEL for=answer0>Yes</LABEL></LI> <LI class=poll-answer><INPUT id=answer1 value=55011 type=radio name=m_ucCandidateSelectionList:m_ucSelectionList: m_ctlSelectionList:VoteRadioGroupCandidates> <LABEL for=answer1>No</LABEL></LI> <LI class=poll-answer><INPUT id=answer2 value=55012 type=radio name=m_ucCandidateSelectionList:m_ucSelectionList: m_ctlSelectionList:VoteRadioGroupCandidates> <LABEL for=answer2>Undecided</LABEL></LI></UL> <P class=poll-submit><INPUT value="Submit vote" type=submit> </form>
|

I voted yesterday. Just the once. Surely voting multiple times just invalidates any result?

Internet polls are pretty ridiculous anyway, but especially when they allow multiple voting as this one does.

Yes, but it seems clear the “other side” are doing the same. It’s the Christian thing.

They need to resort to that, as the poll was probably always going to favour gay adoption. I don't see that it's necessary to stoop to their petty levels to gain one very minor victory.

I don't mind 'stooping to their petty levels' if it means that we can prevent the hateful ACL gaining any advantage in trying to foist its anti-gay message.

Yes, I get that. But my point is, any minor victory won on this (as Mr.B and Xeno rightly point out extremely fallible) poll is invalidated because the results were tampered with on both sides. Had we "played fair", so to speak, the poll probably would still have gone in our favour and the victory would have seemed more credible.
