Can someone get me a keyboard for women? This unisex one is too big for my feminine hands.
I want Bigger Man size Phones!
The keyboards are to small for my Macho muscular fingers!

A brain-dead Irish woman’s body is being used as an incubator. Be angry.

In Ireland, a woman who is clinically dead but 17 weeks pregnant is being kept alive against her family’s will. At this painful time, her relatives must go to court to stop the Irish state treating their loved one’s body as a cadaveric incubator.

A certain theist on this forum recently would agree that this is totally acceptable. *Shudder*

Yes that is ridiculous. If the family wants to turn off the life support who is anybody else to stop them.

Agreed Wadaye.

4 Reasons Why Feminism Is for Men

At first glance, “feminism is for men” may seem like a contradiction in terms. But hear me out.

There are obvious and substantial benefits for men to gain from feminism. Many men are already aware of the ways in which patriarchy hurts them, even as it foists material privilege and status upon them. Any men who fall outside its macho parameters are familiar with the deep-seated insecurity this can engender. (We should also recognise upfront that the debilitating nature of the masculine ideal is amplified for those who are not white, heterosexual, cisgender and able-bodied.) In highlighting the male experience of existing within a narrow a masculine ideal, I don’t intend to minimise the crippling effect that the feminine ideal has on women. Rather, I hope that recognition of the harm done to both genders will make feminism a movement that is not fought by women alone.

This isn’t to suggest that the benefits for men must be illustrated before feminism is valorised — the emancipation of women is a critical goal in and of itself. But with this qualification in place, I proceed with my thesis: feminism is for men and women.

THE ONE WORD MEN NEVER SEE IN THEIR PERFORMANCE REVIEWS.

Perhaps unsurprisingly critical feedback was doled out in a much higher ratio to women: 58.9% of men’s reviews contained critical feedback, while an overwhelming 87.9% of the reviews received by women did.

Not only did women receive more criticism in their performance reviews, it was less constructive and more personal. For example, the critical feedback men received was mostly geared toward suggestions to develop additional skills:

This is about the US, but most other countries are just as guilty.

One Chart Shows All the Times Politicians Decided to Regulate Men's Bodies in 2014.

We're only halfway through 2014, and state legislators have already introduced a whopping 468 restrictions intended to limit, control or otherwise regulate women's reproductive rights.

How many comparable bills have been introduced to regulate men's reproductive health care during this period? Zero.

Something's very wrong with this picture.

The Guttmacher Institute, a nearly 50-year-old nonprofit dedicated to advancing reproductive health and rights, compiled the figures over the course of comprehensive research leading up to its recently released midyear report.

Obviously the reproductive needs and concerns of men and women are different, but that's not the point. The fact that half of the population is subject to such a disproportionate array of potential legislation surrounding their bodies and related personal choices is nothing short of outrageous.
