Wink hello from Brunswick

My name is Tash and I come from an Atheist family luckily and in grade one asked my mum why I had to learn about this stupid god at school, where she informed me I didnt if I didn't want to and I never had to sing those stupid songs again. Now im the teacher (at a long day care) and I don't believe children should have any religion placed upon them at any stage as it's a decision that is theirs and theirs only and will fight to see it out of our education system.

Welcome. I think everyone here would agree religious indoctrination is a form of child abuse.

Welcome Tash. Glad to have you here.

Brunswick eh? Home of one of my fave writers, the fabulous and much-maligned Catherine Deveny

Gidday Tash. I wonder how many theists understand that it's not about replacing religious education, but removing it and letting the kids think for themselves.
