I know they are progressively older, but I can't remember whether the progression goes from north to south or south to north.

(so 50/50 chance of being right)

Bastard. Youngest would be easy coz that would be Hawaii, the one with the volcanos coz that one is sitting over the rift. Oldest, dunno.

Actually the oldest Hawaiian island is now a sea mount somewhere near Alaska and we'll below sea level. So it's not an island and doesn't have a name. I think.
