Just saw the Lego Movie, had me in tears laughing in some parts. Very well done and I would say it had more humor for adults then kids

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. The story was novel, the soundtrack was uplifting and the scenery of Iceland and Greenland was beautiful.

The Shape Of Water.
Excellent Guilllermo Del Toro film. Fantasy and cold war era. Charismatic heroin, nasty villain, mysterious aquatic man. Adults only though!
Four stars.

Any thoughts on the lead - someone with a disability - not being played by an actor with a disability?

Hmm. Never considered that. How many deaf or mute actors are there in the biz? Probably more, if they thought they'd get a look in.

Thanks for that GM. Something to consider.

I have some friends with disabilities or people close to them with disabilities, who speak about this issue eloquently and with passion. Signal boosting on it seems the right thing to do.

In fact, here's a review of the movie written by one of those friends, which addresses the issue: https://fictionmachine.com/2018/02/0...of-water-2017/

(If you like that review, read his other stuff. He's good enough that he's one of very few people I support on Patreon.)
