I'd be less pissed with a "Comparative Religion" option, however most religious subjects in schools boil down to "Religious instruction into the Christian faith". I was lucky at the Catholic school I attended when I was primary school - we actually did Comparative Religion as a subject and learned about all the major religions of the world, including Hinduism and Islam. It was interesting learning about other religions, it was also weird to end that lesson and go straight to the church on school grounds for Hymns.
[odd]The immenseness of the universe - and Jesus sitting on the outside worried whether a species, that happens to be alive during a blip on the timeline of existence, is masterbating or not. Priceless.
