Default If I don't fill SRE section of school enrollment form, will my kid be sent to SRE?

I guess that's what 'opt out' rule means

Unknown!! You need to follow that through with the school. Ask questions evaluate responses from the school.

I think—that in Victoria at least—you have to opt IN for your kids to be brainwashed with the oxymoronic religious "education" programs in State schools. Dunno.
Invisible Pink Unicorns are beings of great spiritual power. We know this because they are capable of being invisible and pink at the same time.
Like all religions, belief in the Invisible Pink Unicorn is based upon both logic and faith.
We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we canít see them.

In Queensland if you give a religion on the enrollment form that automatically enrolls your kids in SRE for that religion. If you don't then they are meant to give you a different form where you can request SRE or say no thanks.

That's in principle.

I have experience of many schools just plonking every child in SRE and if parents withdraw kids they put them back in the following year.

Burden of proof is the obligation on somebody presenting a claim to provide evidence to support its truth (a warrant). Once evidence has been presented, it is up to any opposing "side" to show the evidence presented is not adequate. If claims were accepted without warrants, then every claim could simultaneously be claimed to be true.

History isn't written by the victors. It's written by the people with the time machines.
