Mr B coffee barristers are highly trained professionals.
You can learn at uni (6 hours and $400 thank you very much) or you can do workplace training ( 10 minute run down in which bits of the machine will just burn you a bit, which bits will scald the flesh from your bones, and which bits will explode in you face if you don't watch the little gauge)
Highly trained, very sensitive and very very important. I guess that's why they wear those funny wigs

Old school machines didn't have safety release valves for pressure build up. I know my new one is gonna be ok, but it's always in the back of my mind. So I tell the new staff just in case

Just wondering DD ever seen one of those valves go off?
Or a machine boil dry?

Nope, but I feel nervy when I handle the older beasts. Handle with care I say. At work we have one of those all in one grinder percolator thingys. Can't drink the coffee it makes, but I'm sure it wont boil dry or blow a gasket.
