Old school machines didn't have safety release valves for pressure build up. I know my new one is gonna be ok, but it's always in the back of my mind. So I tell the new staff just in case

Nope, but I feel nervy when I handle the older beasts. Handle with care I say. At work we have one of those all in one grinder percolator thingys. Can't drink the coffee it makes, but I'm sure it wont boil dry or blow a gasket.
