That is fine Upton, here is something that you might like to follow up just for fun
let's say that the yearly anomaly for every year for a decade was 0.8DegC that is 2000 0.8 2001 0.8 2002 0.8 2003 0.8 2004 0.8 you get the picture up to 2009 So, can there be an upward trend in that data ? if not, why ? if there could be, how ?
