Cool welcome. Yes, this is where I need to be. I actually live a hermit-like existence, and it's OK to talk to yourself, but lately it's all the time. And I can override the ADHD and read long articles and books or watch, say, Hitch diatribes that go for hours. It just has to be worth taking in, such that it gets me thinking new stuff, and usually, talking out loud.
So reading long posts doesn't bother me at all. Give me depth any day. With what IQ hand I've been dealt, I intend to use it. I just plodded through Dostoyevsky "Crime And Punishment." I rarely read fiction. It was worth it. Also reread Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty Four. "Arguably", Hitchens essays, I couldn't put down.
