I came across this because it turns out my girlfriend knows the guy who was declared dead, but anyway here are the opinions of his family, and some random blogger;

From Daniel Huf’s Family… Should the two paramedics ever get the chance to read this, I urge them to accept the invitation of the family to visit. I understand that it is probably too confronting at the moment. However, be assured that the family feels nothing but love and appreciation. They truly believe that God has used you both to help them and to be a part of a greater plan. I think it will encourage you just to be in their presence and it will release you to keep doing great work in the future…

Anyway I'm impressed with God's plan. The wonders of the universe, the beauty of nature, and accidentally thinking a living person is dead. Thanks, God.

The thinking displayed in the blog is reminiscient of that parodied in "Thank You God" by Tim Minchin, IMHO.

I'm naturally glad that the accident victim survived and is on the mend, and it'd also be nice if they'd let the hardworking medical personnel have the full credit, rather than unilaterally sharing it with alleged supernatural intervention, on their behalf.
