If you live in Melbourne try to attend this
We are all humans and the way we choose to live shouldn't penalise us in the benefits or the rights that we have. This bigoted issue that shouldn't even exist is going to be voted (the equal marriage legislation). So we are rallying at the state library of vic at 1pm to say that we all should be equal ImageUploadedByTapatalk HD1335952073.033094.jpg |

I'll be there! I'm not gay, no-one in my family is gay, but I'm disgusted that it's even an issue.

I'm going because I think or shall I say (I believe lol) that as humans no matter what our choices are we all should have the same rights in this society. I guess i should add the caveat which in my mind you do something that negatively affects other in the society, of course the are many examples of very bad situations like rape pedophilia etc, then there are things like developing a poor area and forcing the residence to leave. The former is not on and the latter I think should be discussed and then arrangements made to better the lives of the people being displaced ( which currently dose not happen that often) but should.
Every action a society or an individual of that society should be for the betterment of the society AND the people directly effected by that decision. |

I will be attending.
Anyone care for a meet up at Embiggen Books, just around the corner, before hand? Coffee and churros available nearby, too.
