I decided I would have a go at some games.So I downloaded a few,some just play,and some just and play,groovy.
However, I have two which came in ISO format. The accompanying instructions say "mount, install and play". I think I mounted using 'Virtual Clone Drive' but have no idea how to install from there (Win 7 64bit) I have also downloaded "Daemon Tools" Any help would be appreciated. |

Once the iso is mounted to a virtual drive, you should be able to see it via explorer. You would normally then run the setup / install program as you would with any other CD / DVD drive.

A program simply translates the iso (which a file version of a DVD/CD ROM) into a 'pretend' drive.
Here's a how to link I found searching the interwebz: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/micr...ws-7-vista-xp/ Hope that helps. 4lan

Or you can just burn the ISO on the CD (Windows 7 has this ability) and run the program from the CD. Just double-click on the CD and the Windows disc image burner utility should come up.

Right click on it and choose to mount it.

Thank you.
I have managed to mount ,and it shows on a virtual drive. opening the drive shows a series of files; 'click' and 'launch' are WAV files.'set up' is a series of media files. I was under the impression I could setup from the virtual drive without needing to burn a disc. |

NO,none of that. I've burned 3 times, both from the original, using Nero and Astro burn lite. I've tried 'image' 'data;'and 'copy'. I think I may be doing something really simple wrong or the ISO is stuffed. Back to basics;with problems like this I often find I'm making a wrong assumption. |

Sounds like the iso wasn't an iso of the original disc.
