07 - Christmas in July Mafia - Day/Night #2

Twas the day after night one and there in the house
Lay the corpse of an elf, in a trap for a mouse
A victim of foul play at the hands of the scum
But that's not all, that just number 1
Another lay bleeding, stabbed by a knife
Prematurely ending, their happy elf life.
A frenzied attack, with multiple punctures
At least there's good news at this timely juncture
The Crazy Elf's cured, their bloody reign ended
A psycho no more, their mind now not bended
They've joined the town elves, to root out the scum
How long will they last...place bets anyone ?





Good morning elves. It seems that there were nefarious activities overnight, with a couple of gruesome discoveries this morning.










Firstly, as the elves expectantly explored the corridors of Santa's house at the North Pole, they came across the sad figure of Threat, who had been caught in a boobytrap laid out by some very evil elves. Threat was a good elf. He had in his possession present #2, the power of the Triple Vote, which is now lost for the rest of the game.







But that's not all...









It's also my sad duty to inform you that Lord Blackadder was taken by surprise and fatally stabbed in a frenzied attack by someone clearly out of their mind.


LBA was also a good elf and had in her possession present #3, the crystal ball, which allowed its holder access to the afterlife writeboard for 24 hours. This too is now lost to the game.







Threat and LBA may now say a fond farewell, before walking across rainbow bridge hand in hand to the happy place where dead elves go.



I do have some good news though...









The Crazy Elf has been cured, after an intensive session of psychotherapy, shock treatment and a big warm hug. The Crazy Elf is now a regular townie and will no longer be terrorizing the populace at night.

If all the elves check their inboxes over the next hour or so, you will find some new goodies delivered to you. As the usefulness of the psych book has been used, it will now be replaced with something even less useful...a lump of coal. Hey, it could have been a homeopathy text.

Players with day actions need to PM me before the end of the round. This round goes till 9pm today, Brisbane time, midday BST.

Witticism and DarwinsBulldog shall start the round today with 3 penalty votes each.
