Arrow GAC Tickets for Sale (unable to attend, etc)

MOD NOTE: It has been decided to make one thread for GAC Tickets for Sale and a separate thread for GAC Tickets Wanted rather than have them all together in the current thread as it's getting a bit confusing!

If you have a ticket for sale, please post it in this thread. If you sell your ticket, please edit your post to show SOLD nice and clearly so people don't waste their time.

Thread derailments and off-topic chit-chat will be deleted from these threads to keep them tidy. We expect the demand for tickets will start to get quite busy as the GAC draws near!
/END MOD NOTE

Hi all,

I'm in the odd situation of not being able to attend on the 15th (i.e missing half the convention), so thought I would take a long shot and see if anyone wanted to buy half a ticket (if such a thing is even possible).

Seeing as the above doesn't make for a very interesting story, here's what happened...

I booked and paid for (unrefundable) flights, (possibly unrefundable) accomodation and bought my (unrefundable) ticket a couple of months ago. Then, just yesterday, one of my closest friends informed me that he and his fiance had chosen a date for their wedding - the 15th of April - and would I please be in the bridal party.

I ranted, I raved, I told him exactly how frustrating this was (after, before and during telling him how happy I was for them and what a privilege it will be to be groomsman), but unfortunately they will not budge.

So, I am buying more flights home late on the 14th and cutting 2 nights off our accomodation (which will hopefully recoup the cost of the additional flights), but thought perhaps someone on a budget might be interested in attending just the Sunday.

Anyway, PM email notifications are on, so PM me if you are interested and we'll work something out.

Cheers
A disappointed atheist.

Hello,

I've got 1 ticket for sale, to the whole sh-bang, including the dinner on Saturday. (Hubby can't come, but daughters and I still attendíng.)

Not looking to make a profit, prepared to take a loss.

Yep - still keen to sell my ticket so someone can attend Sunday (I'm flying out of MEL 8pm on Saturday so will have to meet up 5-6pm to do the transaction. I'm thinking $120? That's less than half of the cost of the full ticket - not trying to get rich off it just trying to recoup some of the cost and provide a much cheaper alternative for someone else.

Hi all,

I have 1 Concession ticket, but have just found out that I have to attend a mandatory retreat for my Uni course on that break, so I can no longer attend the GAC. Absolutely gutted! The total price of the ticket was $283.69, but I'm looking to get rid of it for about $250 obo. Anyone interested? I'm in Perth, but I'll happily post the ticket wherever it needs to go. Hope it can find a home!

Cheers

Sadly I too find myself having to sell a ticket. My job has recently moved across to Dubai and I won't be able to make it back in time for the convention.

I have a gold ticket to sell and as with previous posters I would just state that I am not looking for a profit on the sale, just a reasonable recoupment of costs.

Thanks,
Warren
