Why, Azikur, is nihilism necessary or even favorable?

Nihilism can deny many worthwhile ideas, such as those espoused by humanism.

An atheist humanist is potentially good for the species.

What good is a nihilist, even possibly to themselves?

    For the higher we soar in contemplation the more limited become our expressions of that which is purely intelligible;
when plunging into the Darkness that is above the intellect,
we pass not merely into brevity of speech,
but even into absolute silence of thoughts and of words.
we mount upwards from below to that which is the highest, and, according to the degree of transcendence, so our speech is restrained until, the entire ascent being accomplished, we become wholly voiceless,
inasmuch as we are absorbed in it that is totally ineffable.
All that tells me is that incoherent meaningless babble existed before Chopra.

It's something about getting less intelligible, the higher one gets.

Firmly pinch one cheek on either side of your face...now rapidly tug at the cheek without letting go and allow the ensuing sound to escape from your mouth by keeping your lips loose...that's what it sounds like.

I prefer the overhand antisplash method myself, but you need at least a brown belt to pull that off successfully.

Starting as an atheist, one can go anywhere.

As the term is merely an indicator of "zero" in the "number of gods believed in" column, one can be a fascist, a socialist, a humanist, a misogynist, a feminist, a philanthropist, or a decorative florist.

However, the atheism does not cause, or largely define, these other things, any more than choosing Coke, Pepsi or water will define one's preference of car tyre brand.

Azikur, you may have fallen for the Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc fallacy.
I did not start as an Atheist, i became an Atheist though meditation. And how?
It seems that most of you do not have any meditation experience. So i will give you a hint. Sit down and go behind the thoughts. That means let them pass, don't get identified with them. Finally you find out that no thought is yours. As you go deeper you find out that all you carry in your head is just stuff we acquire from outside sources. So all we think we know about any god is not ours. It was put in our head from childhood on. So in meditation we peal everything off like an onion. More and more layers. At the end , what is inside the onion? Nothing. So you have reached nothingness, nihilism.
So god is left behind, atheism is left behind. I hope you see now my connection between meditation ,Atheism and Nihilism.

I'm confused, exactly whose thoughts are you writing down here if they're not yours?

You speak as if you are outlining an inevitable progression. Why is it so? Why is this good? Why is it necessary? Why would everybody experience the same?

To be frank, I sought out some of your speeches online, and I was not positively impressed.

Of course everything we know about god(s) is learned. And such learning can be altered through the application and acceptance of contrary evidence. There is no need for meditative woo.

But not believing that such stuff is true does not mean you are left with nihilism. The only possible conclusion from taking your step from atheism to nihilism is that only through god can you find meaning. Which is, as I said above, projection.

As a logic step, you are going like this:

    1. Someone else tells you there is a god.
    2. You think about it and decide you don't believe it.
    3. Then you somehow discard that disbelief and are left with nothing.

    I follow this logic path:

    1. Someone else tells me there is a god.
    2. I think about it and decide I don't believe it.
    3. No further steps are necessary for me to have a meaningful life.
