Iím guessing a King Cobra, as itís endemic to regions with a high population density, and hence more people are likely to be bitten?

I'll go with the krait, on account of it being small, unobtrusive, and endemic to roughly the same regions.

Dry parts of Africa, the Middle East, India and Pakistan.

It is a small snake, 1 to 3 feet long.

Will accept the group name for this type of snake.

What, indeed, is an atheist? He is one who destroys delusions which are harmful to humanity in order to lead men back to nature, to reality, to reason. Baron d'Holbach

    _____

If we go back to the beginnings of things, we shall always find that ignorance and fear created the gods; that imagination, rapture and deception embellished them; that weakness worships them; that custom spares them; and that tyranny favours them in order to profit from the blindness of men.
