Ok, i win! In order to keep the thread flowing i'm coughing up the answer. A melomel is a mead beverage made from honey and fruit. The attached photo above is my first crack at a melomel. There are two batches, both have fresh figs that i collected and froze throughout the summer and combined with - batch 1 - Iron bark honey and - batch 2 - macadamia nut honey bought in bulk from Victroia markt in Melbourne. It'll take a year before drinking, alas.
So, whoever wants to jump in can, i reckon. Although nutmeg did get the honey so you should probably go first.
