Just had a listen.

What the hell was Father Bob raving about at the end there?

Just had a listen.

What the hell was Father Bob raving about at the end there?

Father Bob regularly goes off on tangents. Listening to a celibate seventy-seven year old speaking about the pros and cons of gay people coming out left me cold. Sexual identity issues should be left alone by the asexual.
It's even more annoying when John Safran goes off on a tangent about something he doesn't understand, like what happened before time zero, something he regularly gets a bee in his bonnet about a week or so after he's interviewed an atheist. He is intelligent and I sometimes wonder if his curious agnosticism is just a pragmatic front he puts on to garner interesting interviews from deeply religious people. Pisses me off, sometimes, how ill informed and logically flawed some of his arguments can be. Bob at least has his religious handicap to blame for his ignorance.

Yeah, I think Safran thinks he has some sort of "edge", and that he's challenging his guests and being all controversial, but he's sometimes just being a dick.

The whole interview was a little unsatisfying, actually. They seemed to miss the point of Jason was saying, and I really just couldn't understand whether they were trying to object to his points or agree with him.

Logic please

Well done, Jason! I heard this and thought you did very well, despite getting cut off a bit!

Didnt like the introductions through the program by John Saffran, as i thought it was a bit misleading, but laughed out loud at Father Bob at the start of the program saying that Christians should tick no religion!

Anyway, congrats on getting onto my fav radio station, and perfect because its a national station!

Jason was classy. As always. I think Safran wasn't well prepared or was just ad-libbing with some of his questions, but Jason held it together admirably.
