Was this forum shut down last night, or was it just my server could not access it?

There was some sort of issue with the node the VPS is on, when that was sorted, the database came back up (I would have been asleep) and I just had to repair the DB as some tables were crashed resulting in errors viewing posts, nothing major my end. Still waiting on a tech report over the issue with the XEN server.

If that didn't work, jiggling the cable would've been the next step ;):D

I always try the abuse and threats of violence, but my computer knows I am only bluffing and just ignores me.

You need to surprise your computer a little. Hide somewhere, then suddenly jump in front of it wearing parachute pants and that should solve the problem.

Just make sure you turn the volume all the way up when watching that video. Otherwise you will not hear shit.

The mail servers were also out, I tried sending emails using the @athiestfoundation addresses and they just bounced.
I hear threatening them with magnets works a treat.

This should not have happened, dns and mail servers are not on the vps.
Could you pass me the bounce notice? Pm or email

The mail wasn't affected Dan. We were still receiving emails. May have been the spelling as Mr B suggested. :)

You need to contact the MAILER DAEMON about this. Often he knows what is going wrong. Although having said that, don't expect a very timely response.
