I know, it's cheating -- but still, it looks pretty cool and runs just as well :D

If any Ubuntu fans want to do it themselves:
- Bottom mac panel = Docky (Software Centre)
- Skin = Mac4Lin (Google it -- sourceforge = official)
- F11 dim and Widgets = Screenlets
- Program menu on top panel = gnome global-menu
I got my instructions from this youtube video: YouTube - Make Ubuntu Linux 10.10 (or 10.04) Look and Feel Like Mac OSX Tutorial-Part 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEEwF-BNLmU&feature=related)

Not bad. Do you also get all the fancypants special effects the Mac OS X has?
Even if you do not, at least with Ubuntu you can right click. ;)

If you want Ubuntu to look like Windows 7 here is a script and howto :
http://ubuntu.sun.ac.za/index.php?title=W7_Theme
It is based of this one for making it look like XP :

I have used the second one a number of times on office computers and some home computers for friends that were total windows n00bs, and they couldn't tell the difference, except their computers suddenly stopped having issues :) (also, one had an illegal copy of windows their previous tech had installed, and did not want to pay for a legal copy of windows, because all they used it for was email, music, a word processor and surfing the web

Although I have legal copies of windows, I have replaced them with ...um..modified OS's found on the net that are more stable and secure.
One of my Ubuntu disks [Ver 10.10] is down at the moment, just after I installed WINE. Perhaps it got drunk?
NB. I have some hard disk "caddies" which I use to swap OS's.
